The Yves Saint Laurent Teint Encre De Peau Foundation is a long-wearing foundation that comes in an impressive spectrum of 33 shades.
This is a medium coverage foundation that is buildable to a medium-full. It applies easily and the colour match to my true tone is impressive. I didn’t notice any oxidation of the pigment, and my coverage stayed in place for 10 hours plus. It was transfer and sweat resistant too. I wear BD20 which is Warm Ivory. It is well suited to fair/light skin tones and has a neutral/golden undertone.
The only thing to watch out with this product is that it never dried down completely matte on my skin. I tried this with a mattifying primer and still needed to carry powder with me for touch-ups throughout the day. I don’t mind this so much as I would rather my skin looked natural rather than flat and one dimensional, but it is something to bear in mind during your decision-making process.
The foundation is enriched with Black Tea extract, an antioxidant which helps to remedy damage caused by free radicals, UV and pollution. The formula is also free from mineral oil, sulfates SLS and SLES, parabens, phthalates, and fragrance.
Using this product regularly for a few weeks, I didn’t cause any breakouts and it was easy to remove with my oil cleanser.

All Hours Concealer
The concealer comes in twelve shades and has a handy doe-foot applicator. The consistency is creamy but light. I wouldn’t say it’s the most pigmented concealer I have used, but it’s great for subtly brightening any areas where you don’t need true colour correction.
It feels weightless to wear and has a velvet-matte finish on the skin. It boasts 16-hour wear, but I would say it is closer to 5-6 hours given the lightweight texture and coverage. It doesn’t settle into creases or lines and blends easily into your existing base. The formula is suitable for all skin types, and is paraben and sulphate free.
All Hours Stick
The foundation stick has a cream to powder finish that's natural-matte. It's drier and sheerer than the liquid formula and sits on top of the skin like powder foundation instead of melting into the skin, so I wouldn't recommend you finish with a setting powder after to avoid the super-matte cake-face look. In terms of longevity, the liquid trumps the stick by miles - it's definitely a touch-up tool that works alongside the liquid.
The stick is available in twenty shades, in a range of undertones. It's quite drying so would be well-suited to babes who have oily skin and like a natural finish.
All in all, I'd say if you're going to invest a large chunk of dough in either or, definitely opt for the All Hours liquid foundation over the stick.
